So driving back to a buddies house on NB I-225 a Bronco no more than 20 cars ahead lost its fan and most of the poeple just drove over it. Now I saw it a little to late and had two options, swerve into traffic, or a super sandy shoulder. Knowing that my tires are a little low, I chose to send it under the passenger side. I pulled over as soon as I could, not but 20 ft from the Bronco. The carnage is that I most like killed the front cat as it has a softball sized and deep crunch, and the floor pan is scratched all to hell and the under coating is chewed up rather bad. My main concern was WTF did I damage, and how bad was it and I got very lucky. The fan had gouged the plastic shield in-front of the gas tank and left a small scratch on the tank, and was resting on the passenger rear brake line. I got it out from under the car...no pics of it wedged under there. I pulled it out and walked over to him and gave it back, he's much worse shape; seeing as the fan took a chunk out of of his radiator and cut 2 coolant lines. Lets hope insurance will cover this.
